What is the difference between a water heater and a geyser?
They are the exact same appliance. In the UAE and South Asia, "geyser" (or "gizer") is the common term used for a domestic electric water heater, while "water heater" is the international standard name. Our plumbers service both with the same tools and expertise.
Can a leaking water heater be repaired, or does it need replacing?
If the leak comes from a connection, flexible pipe, or pressure relief valve, it can easily be repaired on site. However, if the inner steel cylinder is rusted or ruptured, it cannot safely be welded and must be replaced. We inspect it first and tell you honestly before starting any work.
